Parking Lot Repairs
Sealed Bids: Sealed bids for the construction of the Greenbrier County Courthouse – Parking Lot Repairs will be received until Monday, July 23, 2018 at 4:00 PM at the Offices of the Greenbrier County Courthouse: 912 Court Street, Lewisburg, WV 24901; ATTN: Kelly Banton. Bids received after the scheduled closing time will be returned un-opened to the bidders. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The bids will be read aloud at the next County Commission meeting immediately following the submittal of bids date.
Contractor License: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by the State of West Virginia. License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened unless it contains the Contractor’s license number. See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements.
Work To Be Done: The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the project titled Greenbrier County Courthouse – Parking Lot Repairs as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of the demolition of the existing parking lot; closing the entrance drive on US Highway 219; the paving of a new larger parking lot with a new entrance on Arbuckle Lane; striping the new parking lot; associated new storm drainage infrastructure; the repair of the existing slip with gabion baskets; the construction of a new portion of retaining wall to match the existing retaining wall; and all other necessary appurtenances necessary to complete the streetscape project. The work will be awarded in one (1) contract.

Bonds: All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department’s most current Circular 570 Listing.
The Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise.
