PUBLIC NOTICE
The Town of Barrackville is providing public notice that it currently owns and maintains four (4) combined sewer overflows that have the potential to discharge diluted sewage. This may affect Buffalo Creek within the Town’s service area during and immediately after rainfall events. All CSO discharge points have been marked for easy identification with a sign at the end of each pipe.
Therefore it is advised that the public should not come in contact within the immediate areas downstream of the CSOs for at least 24 hours after a rainfall of 0.5 inches or greater.
