NOTICE
The City of Bluefield invites the submission of sealed proposals from offerors capable of satisfying the City’s needs for the application of a silicone roof coating system over an existing corrugated steel roof covering approximately 14,000 sq. ft., including a clear silicone to seal multiple skylights, as well as removing approximately six (6) gas heater vents. Contractor will also repair and/or replace damaged or inadequate gutters and downspouts, including converting a residential section to commercial grade.
All contractors must adhere to these parameters:
1. Contractor must be fully licensed by the State of West Virginia and obtain a City business license. Contractor must provide proof of liability insurance and worker compensation coverage for all employees on site.
2. Contractor to provide a flat price for, and list as separate line items for:
1. Roofing
2. Gutters
3. All materials, debris and trash to be removed from site and disposed of legally at contractor’s expense unless pre-arranged.
4. The City of Bluefield reserves the right to hire multiple contractors.

Sealed bids must be clearly marked “Public Works Roof” and will be accepted until Wednesday, May 29, 2019 @ 4:00 p.m. Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 200 Rogers Street, Bluefield, WV.
