West Virginia, Greenbrier County Commission will be conducting an on-site auction on November 28, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at temporary address of 903 Harper Road, Lewisburg, also identified as County Owned property located at District 09 (Lewisburg), Map 20, Parcel 37.1 for the purpose of selling timber removal rights for the proposed SportsPlex land that is located off of Harper Road, Lewisburg.
Timber to be sold shall be ALL standing timber, pulpwood and woody biomass (tree tops), contained within the clearing limits. Buyer shall be responsible for cutting and removing from the site, all timber and pulpwood, as well as chipping and removal of tree tops and logging slash. Buyer shall have a valid WV Timber Buyers Licenses. Interested bidders should evaluate the quality and quantity of the timber for sale as well as necessary road construction and reclamation costs. The minimum acceptable bid shall be $15,000.00, and the harvesting operation is expected to be complete by June 1, 2018. Area to be harvested is within total clearing limits.
