MINOR PROJECT

Sealed proposals for TOWN OF WHITE HALL MINOR PROJECT CONTRACTOR will be received by the Town of White Hall, 3 Timrod Drive, White Hall, West Virginia until 4:30 p.m. local prevailing time, September 28, 2015. All sealed proposals or offers will be publicly opened and read aloud at the next Town Council Meeting at 7:00 pm on Monday, September 28, 2015.
Contractors making proposals may be present at said meeting in support of sealed proposals tendered in writing by 7:00 p.m. The Town of White Hall reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any formalities therein or to extend the aforementioned deadline.
The Town of White Hall is searching for a contractor to be used on minor projects within the Town. The contractor should possess the following capabilities: able to provide excavation, trenching, piping, grading and restoration on various minor construction projects within the Town of White Hall to include but not limited to drainage, paving and roadway improvement projects.
Any contractor submitting a proposal must be insured, appropriately licensed to do business in the State of West Virginia and the Town of White Hall, and otherwise in compliance with all statutes, rules, and ordinances of the State of West Virginia and its political subdivisions.
Contractors must include their UPS Address, Telephone Number, Fax number and E-mail address, copy of contractor’s license, and insurance declaration page with their bid.
Proposals should indicate hourly rates to be charged for minor projects to include laborers’ rates, equipment hourly rates, and other rates as the contractor deems appropriate.
The Town reserves the right to waive any informality in the Bid and to reject any or all bids.
