NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES
CASE NO. 14-1533-PWD-19A
On August 27, 2014, Clay-Roane Public Service District filed with the Public Service Commission an application for increased rates for furnishing water service to approximately 854 customers in Clay and Roane Counties.
The Staff of the Public Service Commission has reviewed the application and has recommended increased rates and charges designed to produce approximately $25,402 annually in additional revenue, an increase of 3.52{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}. The present and Staff-recommended rates are as follows:

Anyone desiring to protest the changed rates and charges must do so, in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323. To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as to reasons that the changed rates and charges should be modified. In addition, anyone desiring a hearing in this matter must demand a hearing in the letter of protest.
If no substantial protest is filed, the Staff-recommended rates may be approved without hearing.
