LEGAL NOTICE
In accordance with Chapter 11, Article 3, Section 2a of the Code of West Virginia, I am notifying all real property and personal property owners of Clay County that for Tax Year 2021, all real property and personal property will be assessed at 60% of its current market value. This may or may not result in a general increase in the assessed value of your property.
Should you have any questions concerning the assessment of your real or personal property, you may contact this office at 587-4258, or you may come in the office and we will review your appraisal with you.
If, after a review with this office, you disagree with the appraisal of your property you may appeal the valuation to the Clay County Commission sitting as a Board of Review and Equalization, during the month of February.
