TAZEWELL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, pursuant to Section 24.2-306 et seq. of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, the Tazewell County Board of Supervisors intends to consider An Ordinance Relocating the Polling Place for the Paint Lick Precinct (303) from VFW Post 9640 to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to Provide More Adequate Voting Facilities. The Ordinance would move the precinct location of the Paint Lick Precinct (303) from VFW Post 9640 to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 3645 Steelsburg Highway, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609.
The Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on August 6, 2019 at the County Administration Building at 197 Main Street, Tazewell, Virginia 24651 at 6:45 PM, or as soon thereafter as may be heard, to consider public comment regarding this proposed An Ordinance Relocating the Polling Place for the Paint Lick Precinct (303) from VFW Post 9640 to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to Provide More Adequate Voting Facilities. Any person wishing to speak at the hearing should appear at the time and place listed above to be heard.
