The Logan County Commission is soliciting proposals from qualified electrical contractors to provide labor, Eaton equipment to upgrade existing electrical panel boards and breaker systems at: Logan County Courthouse 300 Stratton Street, Logan, WV 25601 The purpose for this project is to replace outdated and/or overloaded electrical panel boards and circuit breakers. All work shall comply with applicable codes including: National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) SCOPE OF WORK The selected contractor shall provide, at minimum, the following: Remove existing panel with Eaton equipment boards and breakers Furnish and install new UL-listed panel boards Install new circuit breakers (standard and specialty as required) Perform load calculations in accordance with the NEC Upgrade feeders and bus ratings where required Balance loads across phases CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS Proposers must: Be licensed electrical contractors in the State of WV (MASTER ELECTRICIANS) Have a minimum of 5 years' experience with board upgrades Carry required insurance (General Liability, Workers' Compensation, etc.) Demonstrate experience working in occupied facilities (if applicable) TERMS & CONDITIONS All work must comply with applicable building and electrical codes Contractor responsible for obtaining permits Work hours must be coordinated with facility management Contractor responsible for cleanup and disposal Warranty period minimum: 1-2 years recommended Sealed Bids are due May 1, 2026 @ 2 p.m. Contact: Curtis Gibson for detailed specs.
