Please take notice that the City of New Martinsville, West Virginia, will be having the first public reading of the following ordinances: “On the Spot” Citation,
pursuant to the provisions of the W.Va. Code 8-12-16, Public Nuisance Liens, pursuant to the provisions of the W.Va. Code 8-12-12, and Transfer or Lease of City
Property to Private and Non-profit Entities, pursuant to the provisions of the W.Va. Code 8-12-18.
Copies of the ordinances will be available for public
inspection during open office hours at the New
Martinsville City Building, 191 Main Street, New
Martinsville, WV 26155
The “On the Spot” Citation, Public Nuisance Liens, and Transfer or Lease of City Property to Private and Non-profit Entities Ordinances shall be subject to a
public hearing on Monday, February 10, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, at the New Martinsville City Building, 191 Main Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155.
First public reading will be held on February 3, 2020 at 7:30 p.m., at the Regular Council Meeting, in the
Council Chambers at New Martinsville City Building. Second public reading and adoption of the said
ordinances will immediately follow public hearing on February 10, 2020 in the Council Chambers at the New Martinsville City Building, 191 Main Street, New
Martinsville, WV 26155. Any interested person may
appear to be heard at said public hearing.
