The Tucker County Planning Commission seeks to fill a vacancy in its membership. The position is voluntary and is open to any resident that is registered to vote in Tucker County.
Some of the projects that the Planning Commission is currently working on include the following:
1. The Planning Commission is working on an update to the Tucker County Comprehensive Plan.
2. The Planning Commission is considering a revised draft for a proposed Subdivision Regulation for Tucker County.
3. The Planning Commission is working with the USDA to gain
funding for expanding broadband communications and cell
phone communications within Tucker County.
4. The Planning Commission is working with developers for a means to expand workforce housing within Tucker County.
If you are interested in participating with the Planning Commission on these projects, we encourage your participation. The Tucker County Planning Commission usually meets monthly. Currently, the Tucker County Planning Commission meets on the second Monday of the month at 1:00 p.m.
