Notice is hereby given that CORNERSTONE MINING, LLC, 150 COURTHOUSE RD., PRINCETON, WV 24740 (Business Street Address) has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Mining and Reclamation (DMR) located at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for an Article 3 permit for the surface disturbance of approximately 16.68 acres in order to Operate a Deep Mine and its associated facilities (Surface/Tipple/Preparation Plant/Haulroad/Shop Area /Face up Deep Mine) in the Pocahontas – 9—New River seam of coal. The proposed operation is discharging into Pinnacle Creek of Guyandotte River (Receiving Stream) of OHIO RV (Major Subbasin) and is located 2.6 (Distance) miles, NW (Direction) of Mataoka (Nearest Post Office) in Barkers Ridge District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81 17 30 Latitude 37 25 05
