ATTENTION PRINCETON
RESIDENTS

The City Council for the City of Princeton, WV, meeting in regular session on Monday, the 13th day of August, 2018, at 6:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 100 Courthouse Road, Princeton, WV, will conduct a public hearing on the following:
THE USDA RURAL HOUSING SERVICE HAS RECEIVED AN APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE CITY OF PRINCETON. THE PROPOSED PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE PURCHASING OF EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT FOR THE CITY OF PRINCETON POLICE DEPARTMENT. THIS NOTICE ALSO IS TO INFORM THE PUBLIC OF A PUBLIC MEETING TO BE HELD ON AUGUST 13, 2018, AT 6:30 P.M. AT THE CITY OF PRINCETON MUNICIPAL BUILDING LOCATED AT 100 COURTHOUSE ROAD, PRINCETON, WV 24740. THE PURPOSE OF THIS MEETING IS TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PUBLIC TO BECOME ACQUAINTED WITH THE PROPOSED PROJECT AND TO COMMENT ON ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS, SERVICE AREA, OR ALTERNATIVES TO THE PROJECT.
The USDA requires that the general public be given the opportunity to respond in an open public forum to the proposed uses of said grant funds as outlined in the application. At the public hearing any interested citizen may appear and be heard.
