Wolf Creek Business Park TIF District Annual Statement
In regards to the Tax Increment Financing District established for Wolf Creek Business Park in March of 2019 with an initial deposit by the Fayette County Commission of $23,820.73, the interest earned, as of June 30, 2019, amounts to $14.78. During fiscal year 2019, one purchase from the Wolf Creek Park TIF account was made in the amount of $66.21.
The Fayette County Urban Renewal Authority’s Redevelopment Plan for Wolf Creek Park is still in progress and it is anticipated that revenues generated from this TIF district will be used to develop sites for sale to job creating businesses.
As there was no tax increment financing bond or note used to finance a major project within the Wolf Creek Park TIF district, there is no outstanding balance to which TIF revenues from the Wolf Creek Park TIF District are due.
At the time of this report, the interest income for the Wolf Creek Park TIF account has grown to $14,793.69. These revenues will be dedicated efforts to foster the creation employment opportunities in Wolf Creek Park and diversify the economy of Fayette County.
