Notice is hereby given that on the 6th day of May 2024 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 589 Main St. West, White Sulphur Springs, WV, at 4 p.m., the Board of Zoning Appeals of White Sulphur Springs, WV will hold a public hearing upon the application of Mountain Steer Meat Company for the purpose of requesting “conditional use permission” to construct and operate an Abattoir or “Slaughterhouse” at their current location of 169 Pocahontas Trail, White Sulphur Springs, WV.
The present zoning of the property to be affected is commercial, which does not include the type of use requested.
The property to be considered contains 1.74 acres but only a small portion is requested for conditional use. The physical location is 169 Pocahontas Trail, White Sulphur Springs, WV.
Any person wishing to be heard concerning this matter should be present at the above listed time and place.
Written comments concerning this matter should be received by May 3, 2024 to be considered during the hearing on May 6, 2024.
