On December 19, 1997, the Public Service Commission designated Armstrong as the Eligible Telecommunications Carrier” for its service area for universal service purposes. The goal of universal service is to provide all West Virginia citizens access to essential telecommunications services.
Use of these services may result in added charges.
In addition, Armstrong provides one copy of its annual local directory without charge. Touch Tone service is available to residential and business customers. Armstrong would be pleased to provide you with specific rates for your area upon request.
Beginning January 1, 1998, Armstrong offered Lifeline Service to qualified customers. If you are a low income customer, you may qualify for Armstrong’s Lifeline Program. This means you may receive a monthly discount for your basic phone charges.
