The Hampshire County Commission is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the installation and construction of a chain link fence with entry gate to enclose the perimeter of the recycling site located on Dolan Drive in Augusta, WV. The enclosure is to be approximately 100 feet by 150 feet. The fence height should be 8 feet and the gate opening is to be 26 feet. The gate should be bid as both swinging and mounted on a rolling track for the Commission’s choice. An additional gate, of heavy pipe construction will also need to be installed across the driveway near at the transition from Dolan Drive. All bidders must show proof that they are licensed to do business in the State of West Virginia and proof of professional liability insurance. The project must be completed in its entirety within 45 days of the Commission awarding the contract and the successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond for 100{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of the total Bid, within 5 business days of the award. Pre-bid meeting and presentation will occur on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 10 a.m., on Dolan Lane, Augusta, WV, near the Regional Jail. The pre-bid meeting is mandatory and will include the plan sheet of the project, which will only be available at this meeting. Proposals must be submitted to the Hampshire County Commission via mail at PO Box 806, Romney, WV 26757, or hand delivered to the County Clerk’s office in a sealed package, clearly marked “Proposal to Construct Recycling Site.” The deadline to submit a proposal is 4 p.m., October 7, 2016.
