NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Wood County Airport Authority is requesting proposals for the Broom Truck Acquisition project for the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport (PKB) near Parkersburg, WV. Sealed proposals will be received by the Wood County Airport Authority, at the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport, Terminal, 543 Airport Road, Williamstown, WV 26187 (via FedEx, UPS or hand delivered only) until two o’clock (2:00) p.m. prevailing time on the 4th day of April, 2022 at which time said bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Airport Conference Room. Late proposals will not be accepted.
All proposals must be submitted as ONE ORIGINAL AND ONE COPY in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and submitted in a single, sealed proposal envelope marked:

The Broom Truck Acquisition generally consists of the procurement of a broom and carrier vehicle for the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport.
A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder or an acceptable surety in an amount equal to 10% of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. (Cashier’s Check may serve as 10% Bid Bond and will be returned uncashed upon bid resolution). The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bidder’s contract amount.
Any bid withdraw shall be governed by WV Code 5-22-2. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
The Wood County Airport Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and to award the bid or bids to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as deemed to be in the best interest of the Authority, as determined by the Authority.
