EXCESS EQUIPMENT AUCTION DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT Lavalette Volunteer Fire Department is inviting sealed bids for the 1998 GMC K3500 1 ton P.U 4WD 8 Cylinders J 7.4L FI OHV 454 CID with flatbed to be sold ”as is”. Please fo not call Lavalette Volunteer Fire Department for vehicle information. All known vehicle information is listed below. PROJECT AND LOCATION Vehicle is available to be seen in person at Lavalette Volunteer Fire Department, Test drives will not be allowed. Vehicle may be viewed at: 4502 5th Street Road, Huntington, WV 25701. Sealed bids are due no later than Friday, April 15, 2022. Any bids received after the date specified will be rejected. Any bids hand delivered will be rejected. Faxed bids will not be accepted. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Bidders must submit a bid including name, address, phone number and bid in dollar amount. All submissions must be signed and dated, please write legibly. To submit your bid place your bid in a sealed envelope marked Flatbed Bid, mailed to Lavalette Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 540, Lavalette, WV 25535. All submissions must be received no later than Friday, April 15, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. NOTIFICATION OF AWARD: Sealed Bids will be opened at the regularly scheduled meeting, April 18, 2022. Award will be made to the highest bidder. Successful bidder will be notified NLC close of business April 18, 2022. If you decide that you do not want the vehicle after you are notified that you are the highest bidder, you will be banned from bidding on LVFD auctions for a period of not less that five years. REMOVAL DATE: Vehicles must be removed from Lavalette Volunteer Fire Department property within five (5) business day’s notification of award and full payment. PAYMENT SCHEDULE: The successful bidder shall present cash or a certified check ashier’s check issued to the Lavalette Volunteer Fire Department for a total amount of the awarded vehicle before receiving the title, keys and vehicle. RIGHTS RESERVED BY OWNER: The Lavalette Volunteer Fire Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and negotiate the terms and conditions of all or any part of the bid as determined to be in the best interest of the district in its sole discretion.
