Notice is hereby given that the City of Parkersburg, in accordance with Article 1705.08 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Parkersburg, West Virginia, claims a lien to secure the payment of the sum of Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Five Dollars and 00/100 ($9775.00), plus interest from date of lien, upon your interest in and to the herein described real property lying, situate and being in the City of Parkersburg, County of Wood, State of West Virginia, being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
BEING the same property conveyed to David P. Dowler by deed dated April 5th, 2004 recorded in deed book 1067 page 174.
Such claim is made on the basis that the City of Parkersburg has caused to be demolished certain building(s) formerly located upon the above described real property.
The nature of the work performed upon the aforesaid buildings and upon the above described real property, pursuant to a contract for demolition awarded to J.C. Bosley Construstion, Inc., under lawful bidding procedures, was the demolition by the aforesaid contractor on or around the 30th day of JUNE 2022. Said lien is claimed at the price and amount set forth here in above, plus interest from date of lien, as shown more fully in the invoice submitted by said contractor which is attached hereto as City Exhibit 1, and in the statement of the various costs necessary and incidental, for such demolition which is attached hereto as City Exhibit 2, may contacting the City of Parkersburg.
