ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Williamson Shriver Architects Project #2022-006 The Mingo County Board of Education, Williamson, WV will receive bids for Mingo County Schools – Outdoor Classroom for Burch PK8, Gilbert PK8, Kermit PK8, Lenore PK8, Matewan PK8, Mingo Central High School, Tug Valley High School and Williamson PK8 School(s) until 1:30 p.m., local prevailing time on 11th day of October, 2022, at the office of the Mingo County Board of Education, Williamson, WV, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on the 27th day of September at Mingo County Board of Education (110 Cinderella Road, Williamson 25661) or as designated by Superintendent of Mingo County Schools, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. A site visit will be conducted following the meeting. The contract documents are available only from the architect’s Project Management Website. Login credentials will be sent to plan rooms, all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers after the request is made to biddocs@ wsgarch.com. Addenda will be only distributed electronically to bidders registered in attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. This Project is funded through a American Rescue Plan Elementary & Secondary Schools Emergency Relief Fund (ARP ESSERF) Grant and subject to all Federal and State Guidelines including but not limited to 41 U.S.C. 1908, 41 CFR Part 60-1.3 for Equal Employment Opportunity, 40 U.S.C. 3141-3148 for the Davis-Bacon Act, 40 U.S.C. 3701-3708 for Contract Hours and Safety Standards, 42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q Clean Air Act, 2 CFR 200.323 Domestic Preferences for Procurement, 2 CFR 200.321 contracting for small and minority business, women business enterprises and labor surplus area firms, 2 CFR 200.323 Procurement of recovered materials, 34 CFR 75.609 and 75.610 for access by persons of disabilities and all Federal statues in regards to discrimination.
