REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES
The Region XI Planning and Development Council (Brooke-Hancock), is in the process of obtaining proposals for consulting services for the update of the Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan for Brooke and Hancock Counties in West Virginia. The successful consulting firm would be responsible for the preparation of the Regional Plan and its adoption and approval locally and by the West Virginia Office of Homeland Security.
Qualified candidates/firms interested in being considered for this project must submit four (4) copies of each of the following: 1) letter of interest: 2) resumes detailing credentials and qualifications of the firm’s principals and key support personnel; 3) a list of similar projects recently completed by the firm; 4) the approach and scope of work proposed to coordinate and complete the plan; 5) the timeframe for completion of all work; 6) a cost breakdown for services.
Please submit all requested information to the attention of Craig Brown, Brooke-Hancock Regional Council, 124 North 4th Street, 2nd Floor, Steubenville, OH 43952. Proposals will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2021.
The purpose of the competitive process is to objectively select an individual/firm who will provide the highest quality service at a realistic fee. Accordingly, technical qualifications and related prior experience will be weighted heavily. Selected candidates may be interviewed, and the candidate judged most qualified and advantageous to the Region will be selected.
The Region XI PDC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
