Proposed Substantial Amendment
Notice is hereby given by the City of Parkersburg, WV, that public comments are invited regarding the proposed changes to the Community Development Block Grant Program. For a detailed listing of the proposed changes, a copy is available for review at: http://parkersburgcity.com/pc/.
These proposed changes were presented to the Parkersburg City Council for their review and adoption at its meeting scheduled on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 7:30 PM. Changes include removing funding from completed CDBG projects including Slum and Blight Demolition Program, Public Safety Enhancements, Gihon Road Sidewalk Project, and Area Lighting Improvement and adding this funding to the Minor Home Repair Program.
As part of the City’s Citizen Participation Plan, the City of Parkersburg will receive comments until November 17, 2022.
