Advertisement For Bids Mason County Public Service District Mason County, West Virginia Separate sealed bids for construction of Mason County PSD – 2021 PSD Water Extensions wi11 be received by the Mason County PSD at the Main Office located at 101 Camden Avenue, Point Pleasant, WV 25550 until December 8, 2022, at 10:00 am, local time. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 am. Pre-bid Conference A non-mandatory, pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on November 30, 2022 at 10:00 am at Mason County PSD Office, 101 Camden Avenue, Point Pleasant, WV 25550. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: 1. Office of the Owner Mason County PSD l O1 Camden Avenue Point Pleasant, WV 25550 2. Office of the Engineer Cerrone Associates, Inc. 97 – 14th Street Wheeling, WV 26003 Method of Bidding will be as follows: CONTRACT #1 -Route 35 (SR817), Flatfoot, Duncan Creek Water Line Enhancements and Extensions: Unit price contract to provide and install approximately 32,255 LF of 8″, 4″, and 2″ waterlines; including 14 gate valves, 4 fire hydrants, 2,060 LF of horizontal directional drilling, 244 LF of highway crossings, 4 service reconnections, and other appurtenances to provide a complete operating system. Alternate deducts include the complete removal of the area of Flatfoot and Duncan Creek. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Any Contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he he has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the state and subdivision in which the work is to be performed.
