You are hereby notified that your parental rights to C.A.N. (DOB: 3/15/2007 may be terminated in this adoption proceeding, unless you appear and defend any such rights within 30 days of first publication of this Notice, by filing a Response with the Circuit Clerk of Roane County, West Virginia and by serving said Response upon counsel for Petitioner, Thomas B. Karr, Esq., Legal Aid of West Virginia, 327 Ninth St., Parkersburg, WV 26101. A copy of the Petition can be obtained from the Roane County Circuit Clerk’s Office in the Roane County Courthouse.
You are further notified that a final hearing will be held on February 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. before the Hon. Anita H. Ashley, Judge, of the Circuit Court of Roane County, West Virginia, at the Roane County Courthouse, 200 Main Street, Spencer, WV 25276.
If you fail to respond within 30 days’ time, you may not appear in or receive further notice of these proceedings.
Failure to respond or appear will result in termination of any parental rights you may have.
