REQUEST FOR BID For Service Truck, Service Bed, Hydraulic Crane and Truck Mounted Welder Bid Notice The Culloden Public Service District is accepting bids for a service truck, service bed, hydraulic crane, and air compressor, which will be installed on a truck chassis purchased through same bid contract as bed, service crane, welder and air compressor. Bids are to be submitted on the Vendor’s standard bid quote uote form, and by submitting a bid, the Vendor certifies that the truck chassis, service bed, hydraulic crane, welder and air compressor meets the below requirements. Truck Chassis shall be 2023 Ford F-550 XLT Dual Rear Wheel 4×4 Super Cab, having a 191.9″ wheel base and 84″ cab to rear axle length, chassis shall be equipped with a 40 gallon rear mounted fuel tank. Engine shall have 330 HP @ 2,600 rpm and 825 foot Lbs. of Torque @ 2,000 rpm, turbo diesel or equivalent equal. Transmission shall be Automatic and have a towing capacity of 18,500 lbs. and a payload capacity of 10,030 lbs. Vehicle shall be outfitted with Platform Running Boards, telescopic towing mirrors, and 360-Degree Dual Beacon LED Warning Strobes (White & Amber) in color and have optional high-capacity trailer towing package, with installed 7-way trailer plug and rear mounted mud flaps, or equivalent by other manufactures. Truck chassis rear suspension springs and necessary frame modifications built up on both sides and leveled to accommodate the specified crane and other equipment installed on truck, and any safety lighting, wiring and addition connections for towing, air compressor and welder. The service bed shall be a Palfinger 39-11cs or equivalent by other manufactures and have the following requirements: 44″ tall compartment heights, one 60″ tall right-side front of bed compartment, with all doors having master lock keyed entry, 14″ tall tailgate, interior bed shall have treadplate on floor, load space walls and compartment tops. Shall have hybrid torsion box and ladder frame construction, full length channel drip rails, double panel doors with internal c-channel stiffeners, adhered with structural adhesive. Boom rest shall be constructed of steel and have a non-marring surface applied. Work bench style bumper with 21″ surface for full width of truck bed and constructed of 1/4″ steel top plate with class V receiver hitch and mounted 6″ bench vise. Bed shall have linear adjustable front mounts, aluminum doors and hinges, and rubber mounted LED lights. All applicable surfaces shall have a E-coat primer applied to them and have a final paint color of white matching truck chassis. Bed shall have threaded weldment options for installing boom rest, welder, and compressor. Hydraulicly extend stabilizers shall be supplied for the PSC 3216H Crane supplied by bed manufacture or equivalent by other manufactures but must have a maximum lift capacity of 4,000 lbs. and boom length of 16′ and be hydraulicly operated. Bed shall also include aluminum divider trays and roll out drawers, bolt on handrail for safety, headache rack with light bar mount, aluminum rock guards, air compressor with hose and FLR. Crane shall be, Palfinger model PSC 3216H or equivalent by other manufacture having the following minimum requirements: crane shall be equipped with 60 feet of 1/4″ stainless steel cable and have a boom length of 16′ capable of lifting 4,000 lbs. @ 80 not extended and 3,450 lbs. @ 80 fully extended. And 640 lbs. @ -5 fully extended and be hydraulicly operated. Crane shall have a remotely operated hand control, and have automatic overload protection, non-tipping swivel block, hook and latch, being white in color matching truck chassis and service bed and mounted on right side of truck bed. One (1) test and scale crane to factory spec and one (1) year crane warranty shall be provided with bid. Air compressor shall be, Palfinger PRC 45V or equivalent by other manufactures with the following minimum requirements: 45 cfm @ 100 psi (7 bar) and a maximum system pressure at 150 psi (10.3 bar), have a continuous duty cycle and a flow of 9-14 gpm. Normal operating pressure of 1,900 psi (131 bar) and a maximum operating pressure of 2,500 psi (172 bar), have a 3/4″ NPT air outlet. Compressor shall be equipped with an integrated dual chamber hydraulic & compressor oil radiator with 12 volts thermally activated 16″ coiling fan, be equipped with a LCD display box, showing at a minimum: system status, adjustable parameters, and have error reporting capabilities. Compressor shall have high compressor and hydraulic oil temp shut down features built into the unit. Removable top, front, and side panels and have air pressure relief @ 200 psi (13.8 bar) and a hydraulic pressure relief @2,800 psi (193 bar). Canopy for compressor shall be powder coated aluminum, and white in color. Welder shall be a Miller Welder enerator model number MIL907792 with a 260 Bobcat Gasoline Kohler engine driven GFCI receptacles, 50’x1 positive welding cable3/800 AMP electrode holder weco quick disconnect 50’x1 negative welding cable3/800 AMP ground clamp weco quick disconnect, mounted on driver side compartment top of crane service body. All questions on bid must be submitted 1 week prior to bid and answered by three (3) days prior to bid deadline. Any questions after that will not be answered and it will be up to the vendor to determine.
