LEGAL NOTICE
ATTENTION BELINGTON RESIDENTS
The City Council for the City of Belington, WV, meeting in regular session of Thursday the 18th day of May, 2023, at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 45 S, Crim Ave., Belington, WV, will conduct a public hearing on the following:
THE USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT HAS RECEIVED AN APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE CITY OF BELINGTON. THE PROPOSED PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE PURCHASING OF A SEWER VAC TRUCK FOR THE CITY OF BELINGTON. THIS NOTICE ALSO IS TO INFORM OF A PUBLIC MEETING TO BE HELD ON MAY 18, 2023, AT 7″20 P.M. THE PURPOSE OF THIS MEETING IS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC REGARDING THIS PROJECT AND TO COMMENT ON ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS, SERVICE AREA, OR ALTERNATIVES TO THE PROJECT.
The USDA requires that the general public be given the opportunity to respond in an open forum to the proposed uses of said grant funds as outlined in the application. At the public hearing any interested citizen may appear and be heard.
