The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) on behalf of the WVSOM Center for Rural and Community Health located at 400 Lee Street North, Lewisburg, WV 24901 invites qualified responsive and responsible vendors to submit firm fixed price (FFP) sealed bids for the SOR Commercial Window Replacement Project.
The general scope of work and minimum contractor requirements for the SOR Commercial Window Replacement Project include removing and disposing of existing windows and installing new windows and accessories at the WV Helping Hands building (608 Greenbrier Ave, Ronceverte, WV 24970). This project shall include but not be limited to all work, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, handling, and travel expenses as required to complete this project. The project must be completed in accordance with the terms and conditions of this WVSOM Request for Bid (RFB) and the RFB packet provided at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. The SOR Commercial Window Replacement Project must be completed, inspected, and invoiced by 9/15/23.
A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING AND TOUR is scheduled for Monday, 8/7/23 at 10:00 am at the WV Helping Hands building, located at 608 Greenbrier Ave, Ronceverte, WV 24970. Vendors must arrive promptly by 10:00am in order to participate in the pre-bid meeting and tour. Late arrivals will not be allowed to participate. Please contact Jenna Hinkle ([email protected] 304-793-6584) for directions. All interested responsible/responsive vendors are required to be represented at this meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions, and other relevant information. Instructions and required documents will be provided at the pre-bid meeting. Bids received from any vendor who did not attend the mandatory meeting will be disqualified. All attendees are required to sign-in to verify their attendance.
Questions, clarifications, and inquiries concerning this RFB must be sent by email to the point of contact (Jennifer Freeman, [email protected] ) by Tuesday, 8/8/23 at 4:30pm. Please reference RFB number (WVSOM-24-B-001) in the subject line. If a change or clarification to the RFB documents is required, an addendum will be issued. The point of contact will be responsible for written clarification, which will be provided to all vendors by way of email.
All sealed bids must be submitted by Tuesday, 8/15/23 at 3:00pm at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine Welcome Center and in accordance with the Request for Bid document requirements issued by the WVSOM Contracts Department. Sealed bids must be submitted in writing only by mail (WVSOM, Attn: Jennifer Freeman, 400 Lee St N, Lewisburg, WV 24901) or in person. Late bids will not be accepted. The sealed bid opening will occur promptly after the 3:00pm deadline on Tuesday, 8/15/23 in the OCS Classroom E-124.
To drop off sealed bids or attend the bid opening, please park in the WVSOM Welcome Center lot across from the Robert C Byrd Clinic and bring your sealed bid to the Welcome Center door. All doors at WVSOM are locked. Please call the Welcome Center (304-793-6817) and let them know you are dropping off a sealed bid and/or attending the bid opening. Someone will be with you shortly.
