NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that adoption proceedings concerning the referenced minor child are presently pending before the Circuit Court of Morgan County, West Virginia. The matter will come before the Court on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. The Morgan County Courthouse is located at 77 Fairfax Street, Berkeley Springs, West Virginia 25411. A copy of the Summons and Petition may be obtained from the Clerk of the Court.
A persons claiming parental rights to the referenced minor child must appear in this action or your parental rights may be terminated in this proceeding.
All persons claiming parental rights to the referenced minor child have the right to appear and defend those parental rights within the time set forth under West Virginia law. If you fail to respond within this time, you may not appear in this matter nor will you receive further notice of these adoption proceedings.
