WISEMAN AVE.
PARKING EXPANSION AND SIDEWALK WORK
The Town of Fayetteville is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to add 18 parking spaces, demolition and relocation of an existing sidewalk, and perform 4 driveway curb cuts, along West Wiseman Ave. This project is located at 200 W. Wiseman, in front of the old Fayetteville Elementary School and behind the Fayette County Memorial Building.
Scope of work (All work performed per Engineered Specifications)
• Excavation and clearing of area
• Demolition of existing sidewalk
• Site prep for asphalt, including gravel and base work
• Resurfacing site with asphalt and striping of spots including ADA spaces
• Installation of needed regulatory signage
• Installation of new sidewalk per ADA specifications
• Removal of sidewalk in 4 locations and installation of driveway curb cuts

Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Fayetteville, Attention: Matt Diederich, 125 N. Court St. Fayetteville, WV 25840. Bids must be submitted at Town Hall no later than 4:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 6, 2024. The bids will be opened at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Town Council, at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
