NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the above-styled matter has been filed in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (West Virginia Code 60A-7-701, et. seq.). Any person or corporation having a claim to the hereinafter described property shall, on or before the 4th day of July, 2024 file, in writing, their claim to said property with the Clerk of said Court, which said claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon such person or corporation. A copy of said claim shall be delivered to Patrick O. Lefebure, Prosecuting Attorney, Counsel for Petitioners, at the Office of the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney, Judge Donald Black Annex, 317 Market Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101.

Pursuant to West Virginia Code 60A-7-705 (c)(1-6), the following information is given: (1) the property seized which is the subject of the petition filed is $1,551.00 IN UNITED STATES CURRENCY and MODEL E15 .22 CAL L.R., S/N 24415; (2) the Wood County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the seizure; (3) the property was seized on February 28, 2024 at 1722 Dupont Road, Parkersburg, Wood County West Virginia; (4) the only owners of the property subject to forfeiture known to Petitioners is Eugene Likens, whose address is 1105 Vista Del Rio Road, Morgantown, WV, April Mounts, whose address is 56 Friendly Lane, Elizabeth, WV, Michael Bailey, whose address is 418 4th Avenue, Parkersburg, WV and/or Hannah James-Rojas, whose address is 1610 Liberty Street, Parkersburg, WV; (5) the person having possession of the seized property at the time of the seizure was Eugene Likens, April Mounts, Michael Bailey and

Hannah James-Rojas; and (6) a request to the above named Court to enter an Order directing ownership of said property in the State and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office will be made.
