REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS PRIME VENDOR FOR CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM The Mercer County Board of Education, Princeton, WV requests proposals from qualified distributors, Group Purchasing Organizations or Co-Operatives to supply and deliver product in compliance with the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program and Summer Food Service Program. Qualified firms must be able to fully service the need for storage and delivery of both commercial and USDA Commodity food in compliance with MCS Child Nutrition Programs, administered by the Food and Nutrition Service of the Department of Agriculture. Products must meet USDA standards and vendors must comply with HACCP regulations and the Buy American Provision. Additional requirements are detailed in the complete proposal. Proposals will be opened and read aloud July 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., in the conference room of the Mercer County Board of Education, 1403 Honaker Avenue, Princeton, WV. The MCBOE reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bid responses. The Board also reserves the right to reschedule the proposal opening.
