Notice of Bids
Wyoming County Schools is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to develop and implement a comprehensive coding curriculum for students in grades 6-8 This initiative aims to equip students with essential coding skills and knowledge, fostering their ability to thrive in a technology-driven world.
Wyoming County Schools serves a diverse student population with varying levels of access to technology. We are committed to providing equitable and high-quality education, and integrating coding into our curriculum is a key step in achieving this goal. The proposed coding curriculum should be designed to meet the needs of all students, including those with limited prior exposure to technology.
Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Superintendent of Schools until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Bids should be sent to the attention of Kara Halsey-Mitchell, Wyoming County Board of Education Office, 155 Park Street, P.O. Box 69, Pineville, WV 24874
Services Requested:
The selected vendor will be responsible for:
• Curriculum Development: Create a coding curriculum for
grades 6-8, including lesson plans, instructional materials,
and assessments.
• Teacher Trainings: Provide professional development for
teachers to effectively deliver the coding curriculum.
• Implementation Support: Assist with the rollout of the
curriculum across all schools in the district.
• Evaluation and Feedback: Develop a system for ongoing
assessment and improvement of the curriculum.
Wyoming County Schools reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal or in the proposal process, and to accept or reject any item or combination of items.
