MAIN STREET, SUITE 2000, LEXINGTON, KY 40507 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1101 George Kostas Drive, Logan, WV 25601 for a Phase 3 release on Permit Number S300800 Increment Number 9 issued for 129.82 acres, a Phase 2 and 3 release on Permit Number S300800 Increment Number 1 issued for 110 acres, and a Phase 2 release on Permit Number S300800 Increment Number 2 issued for 88 acres.
The permit is located in Cabin Creek and Clear Fork Districts of Kanawha and Raleigh Counties, 0.7 miles northwest of Dorothy (nearest PO) on Unnamed Right Fork of Rockhouse Creek; Unnamed Trib of Rockhouse Creek, Rochchouse Creek; Unnamed Left Fork of Gardner Branch; Unnamed Right Fork of Gardner Branch; Gardner Branch; Laurel Branch all of Clear Fork and Tenmile Creek of Coal River of Little Kanawha River.
Panther Creek Mining, LLC completed final reclamation on 02/23/2017 and is requesting release of 100 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $84,500.00.
Panther Creek Mining, LLC completed final reclamation on 09/07/2022 and is requesting release of 100 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $131,000.00.
Panther Creek Mining, LLC completed revegetation on 09/01/2015 and is requesting release of 10 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $88,000.00.
