2.BULK EARTHWORK PROJECT
Fayette County Schools are seeking qualified contractors with specialization in Earthwork and contractors with specialization in natural grass sports fields to bid upon 2 up coming projects for Fayette County Schools. This is a multiple Prime Bid Package for Contractors so bid on Bulk Excavation Site and Baseball and Softball Site Development. This project shall include the provision of up to 50,000 +/ Cubic Yards (Contractor to determine the volume) of off-site imported fill material to be constructed.
• Bidding Documents and plans are is available through the Fayette County Schools Official Webpage.
• MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING SHALL BE HELD ON SITE (Midland Trail High School, 26719 Midland Trail, Hico, WV 25854) on October 24, 2024 at 10:00 am.
• Bids are Due Friday November 1, 2024 at 2:00 pm to the offices of Mr. Timothy Payton, Director of Facilities Services, Fayette County Schools 111 Fayette Avenue, Fayetteville, WV 25840
• 10% Bid Bond Required.
The Proposals must be made to the Fayette County School District, and shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
