REQUEST FOR
ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING QUALIFICATIONS

The Summers County Commission is in the process of obtaining qualifications from architectural and/or engineering firms interested in providing advice and services for the purposes of repairing and, when necessary, replacing the existing windows and storm windows at the Summers County Courthouse.

Professional services for the activity funded include; (1) Repair and/or replace in accordance with all State, Federal and Local regulations that pertain to the proposed project; (2) Preparation of bidding and contracting documents; (3) Participation in the evaluation of bids received; (4) Monitor and inspect construction activities on a periodic basis to insure compliance with plans and specifications; (5) SHPO coordination and compliance.

Procurement of said services shall be in accordance with West Virginia Code Chapter 5G. Consultants interested in being considered for this project must submit a proposal detailing qualifications, technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities and related prior experience.

Attention is directed to the fact that the proposed project may be undertaken through federal, state and local funding sources including the Courthouse Facilities Improvement Grant Program, loan funding, and local funds.
