NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the election of Mayor, Recorder and Council members for the Town of Ansted will be held on June 3, 2025. Written petition of not less than six (6) legal voters of the Town of Ansted requesting the recorder to call a convention for the purpose of nominating candidates to fill the offices for which the election has been called, must be filed no later than the 1st Monday of March (March 3, 2025). The Conventions will be held between the First Tuesday in March (March 4th) and the second Tuesday in March (March 11th). People nominated by such conventions must file a certificate of announcement between March 12, 2025, and March 25, 2025. A filing fee of $5.00 must be paid by each person filling for office according to the State code.
