BOX 69, 622 Packs Branch Road, Pax, WV 25904 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Regional Office at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a Phase 2 release on Permit Number S-3017-12 Increments
# 1, 2, and 3 issued for 252.27 acres.
The permit is located in Clear Fork District of Raleigh County, 2.1 miles west of Clear Creek on unnamed tributaries of/and Workman Creek, unnamed tributaries of/and McDowell Branch, unnamed tributaries of/and McGinnis Branch, unnamed tributaries of/and Stover Fork, unnamed tributaries of/and Davis Fork, unnamed tributaries of/and Sycamore Creek of Clear Fork of Coal River. Republic Energy, LLC completed revegetation on 3/15/2022 and is requesting release of 25 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $496,000.
