MAIN STREET, SUITE 2000, LEXINGTON, KY 40507 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1101 George Kostas Drive, Logan, WV 25601 for a Phase 2 release on Permit Number S300408 Increment Numbers 1 issued for 86.01 acres and Increment Number 2 issued for 38 acres.
The permit is located in Sherman and Clear Fork Districts of Boone and Raleigh Counties, 2.14 miles northwest of Dorothy (nearest PO) on Unnamed tributaries of/and Rockhouse Creek of Clear Fork, unnamed tributaries of/and Seng Creek of Big Coal River of Coal River of Upper Kanawha River.
Panther Creek Mining, LLC completed revegetation on Increment 1 on 2/28/2024 and is requesting release of 25 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $34,800.00.
Panther Creek Mining, LLC completed revegetation for Increment 2 on 2/26/2025 and is requesting release of 25 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $15,200.00.
