BOX 69, 622 PACKS BRANCH ROAD, PAX, WV 25904 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a Phase 1 release on Permit Number S301712 Increment # 5 issued for 38.93 acres.
The permit is located in Clear Fork District of Raleigh County, 2.1 miles west of Clear Creek on unnamed tribs of/and Workman Creek, unnamed tribs of/and McDowell Branch, unnamed tribs of/and McGinnis Branch, unnamed tribs of/and Stover Fork, unnamed tribs of/and Davis Fork, unnamed tribs of/and Sycamore Creek of Clear Fork of Coal River. REPUBLIC ENERGY, LLC completed backfilling and regrading on 4/30/2024 and is requesting release of 60 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $195,000,00.
