PUBLIC NOTICE
The Town of Farmington is accepting sealed bids for the demolition and removal of asbestos of 3 structures in Farmington WV. Specifications: All materials must be disposed of at an approved solid waste facility and the site must be graded and seeded when the removal is completed. Due to funding constraints, the demolitions must be completed by July 31,2025. Additional information is available at the town hall or by email. Any State or Town permits will be the responsibility of the contractor. Bidders must include a copy of their state and city business license and proof of insurance with their bid. A 5% bid bond must also be included with your bid along with a performance bond. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 29,2025 at 6:00 pm at the Town Hall. All questions are to be submitted by 4:00 pm on May 27,2025 to Code Enforcement Tim Fluharty. Bids will be accepted at the Town Clerks Office, Town of Farmington, 1314 Mill St Farmington WV 26571 until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 11,2025. Please mark “Demolition Sealed Bid” on the outside of the envelope. Town Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
