ADOPTION PUBLICATION LEGAL DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF MINOR CHILD Please take notice that on the 30th day of June, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in Preston County, Kingwood, West Virginia, before the Honorable Steven Shaffer whose courtroom is located on the 3rd Floor of the Preston County Courthouse, 101 West Court Street, Kingwood, West Virginia, a hearing will be held on a Petition for Adoption to adopt a minor male child born on August 3, 2021, in Huntington, West Virginia, at which time the prospective adoptive parent shall further request an Order be entered by said Court granting their prayer for adoption of the said minor child. This order will materially affect the parental rights of the biological father as his rights could be terminated. If the biological father of said minor child has any objections to said adoption, he shall therefore appear at the time, place and date aforesaid and make such objections known.
