The City of Weirton will be soliciting bids from Asbestos contractors. This service is as a result of Code Enforcement efforts citywide. Bid packets containing specifications for the asbestos abatement may be picked up at the inspection’s department in the Weirton City Building at 200 Municipal Plaza between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00P.M. Monday thru Friday. Asbestos bids: 318 Howard St, Weirton WV
Bids must be received by 12:00 PM on June 6, 2025. Each bid must be accompanied by a copy of the City Business License, State Contractors License, State Licensing, Workers Compensation, and General Liability Insurance at the time of submission. The asbestos bid will be opened at 2:15 PM on June 6,2025. If you have any questions or need any further information, contact the inspections department at (304)797-8500 ext. 1004.
