ADVERTISEMENT FOR DEMOLITION BIDS The Cabell County Commission is seeking qualified contractors to provide sealed bids for demolition and necessary asbestos abatement prior to the demolition of a single family dwelling at 102 Cyrus Creek Rd near Barboursville, WV and 3 mobile home trailers at 4 Woodrum Ln near Huntington, WV. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, August 4 at 10:00 AM in the County Commission Chambers, 3rd Floor Cabell County Courthouse. Contractors or their designee must be present to bid on the projects. An asbestos inspection report for both sites will be provided at this meeting. Said responses for bids for demolition and necessary asbestos abatement shall be submitted with the bids in a sealed envelope, with the date and time the bids are due on the outside of the envelope, on or before Thursday, August 14, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cabell County Commission, Suite 300, Third Floor, Huntington, West Virginia 25701, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud during County Commission Session at the Cabell County Courthouse. The Cabell County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. All bids shall be valid for 90 days from the date of the opening.
