The purpose of this action is to determine guardianship of M.V., DOB: 07/01/2025, Petitioner, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, is seeking continued legal and physical custody of said child(ren), and/or Termination of Parental Rights.
It appearing that the whereabouts of Rebecca Guyatt Russell, Vaught or Unknown Father of M.V., DOB: 07/01/2025 or of anyone claiming paternity of infant child, is presently unknown at this time, it is ORDERED Rebecca Guyatt, Russell Vaught or Unknown Father of M.V., DOB: 07/01/2025 or any named or unnamed father/mother, or anyone claiming paternity of infant child, appear in the Office of the Honorable Darl Poling, Judge of the Circuit Court of Raleigh County, West Virginia, for a Preliminary Hearing on October 9, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., of that day and object, or make other defense, to the Petition, otherwise guardianship of the child may be granted to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, the parental rights of the father and mother terminated.
Further, it is hereby ORDERED that Rebecca Guyatt, Russell Vaught or Unknown Father of M.V., DOB: 07/01/2025, or anyone claiming paternity of M.V., DOB: 07/01/2025, be advised of his/her right to have counsel at every stage of these proceedings and that counsel will be appointed if they cannot pay for the services of counsel and that such proceedings may result in the severance of parental rights and the transfer of custody of said child unto the Petitioner.
