NOTICE
The object of the above-captioned action is custody of a child and possible termination of parental rights.
Notice is hereby given that an Adjudicatory Hearing, and if appropriate, Disposition Hearing, will be held before The Honorable Joseph E. Barki, Judge, in his Chambers located in the Hancock County Courthouse, 102 Court Street, New Cumberland, West Virginia, on October 28, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. The purpose of the hearing is to determine whether the parental/ custodial/guardianship rights of the Respondent, Sarah Jacobs, biological mother of A.B., a child born November 29, 2008, and Respondent, Ethan Bottoms, biological father of A.B., a child born November 29, 2008 should be terminated.
Notice is hereby further given to Respondent, Sarah Jacobs, and Respondent, Ethan Bottoms, of their right to counsel at every stage of the proceeding and that such proceeding can result in the permanent termination of their parental rights.
Notice is hereby further given to Respondent, Sarah Jacobs, and Respondent, Ethan Bottoms, that a copy of the petition and possible termination of parental rights can be obtained from the Hancock County Circuit Clerk at the Clerk’s office located in the Hancock County Courthouse, 102 Court Street, New Cumberland, West Virginia.
