1. Project Overview
The Fayette County Commission, in Fayetteville, West Virginia, invites Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms to submit qualifications for the design and construction of the Fayette County Shooting Range and Law Enforcement Training Facility. The facility will be a multi-use complex including:
Three shooting ranges (pistol, sniper, and steel target)
Non-lethal training house
K9 training facility
Indoor educational/training facility
Parking areas and access roadway
Professional services will include, but are not limited to:
Preliminary engineering reports and conceptual/master planning
Funding applications and support
Environmental evaluations
Project design and permitting
Construction plans, specifications, and bidding documents
Bidding assistance
Construction administration
Project management
The selected consultant will collaborate closely with the Fayette County Commission and the Fayette County Sheriff Department throughout the design and construction phases.

3. Submission Requirements
Interested firms must submit proposals that include:
Firm qualifications and experience
Technical expertise
Management and staffing capabilities
Related prior project experience
Professional references

4. Evaluation and Selection Process
The competitive process aims to select the firm that provides the highest quality services, with emphasis on technical expertise and relevant experience.
Qualifications will be reviewed and the most qualified firms will be invited for an interview.
Following the interview, the selected firm will be asked to prepare a fee proposal for engineering services.
The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all submissions.
