PUBLIC HEARING
FOR POTENTIAL AMBULANCE FEES ON COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS
The Morgan County Commission will be hosting a Public hearing on November 13, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commission Room.
The purpose of this hearing is to gather public input regarding proposed fees associated with ambulance services provided to commercial buildings, as authorized under West Virginia Code §7-15-17.
This statute permits county commissions to impose and collect a special emergency ambulance service fee to cover the costs of buildings, equipment and operations necessary to provide emergency ambulance services to county residents.
All interested parties are encouraged to attend and provide comments.
