School Records Available Roane County Schools hereby informs parents, guardians, surrogate parents, etc. and students age eighteen or order, of their right to inspect and review the educational record of the student(s) in their care. There must be a written request to inspect and review the student’s record provided to the Director of Special Education. Each written and dated request will be granted within a reasonable time period, but in no case longer than forty-five days.
