INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids for the Courtroom & Judge’s Suite Fit-Out construction located in the Raleigh County Judicial Center Annex and owned by the Raleigh County Commission, will be received in the County Commission Offices, Beckley, West Virginia, on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. LPT at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by the Architect. Bidding Documents may be obtained upon request to: Silling Associates, Inc. 405 Capitol Street, Upper Atrium Charleston, WV 25301 304-346-0565 The project involves an interior fit-out of approximately 3,200 gross square feet; including all interior construction, finishes (woodwork, drywall, painting, etc.), electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Bidders interested in submitting bids shall contact the Architect. Email Bid Package requests to Leah Frazier [email protected] and a Bid Package will be sent out. There is no deposit required for Bid Packages and all printing costs incurred by bidders are non-refundable. A certified check in the amount of five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each for 100{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of the contract award. All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (West Virginia Contractor’s Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in the County Commission Office located at 116 1/2 North Heber Street, Beckley, West Virginia. All General Contractors must attend the Pre-Bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions, and other relevant information.
